To be completely honest, I never shopped for makeup except for local drugstores until my teenage daughter made me go and check out our local Sephora for her birthday a few years ago! One trip with her was all it took to be hooked!! I had no idea what I had been missing out on all those years!!!
So here is what I currently have in my makeup bag at the moment!! If you know me, then you know that I will try just about anything so I love hearing recommendations from friends, family, and other bloggers on products! My daughter told me about “The Best Mascara” out there and I have been hooked ever since!! I recently went on a beach vacation and purchased the waterproof version and it was so great for those pool and beach days! This Clinique moisture surge is amazing and one of my favorite moisturizers at the moment!!! It’s lightweight and super hydrating!!
Here are a few recent things I have ordered and can’t wait for them to come in so I can try them out! This Tarte Amazonian Clay Waterproof Bronzer has been on my wishlist for awhile thanks to my sis over at Southern Home and Designs, and I am finally almost out of my longtime favorite bronzer that is pictured above that I have been using for years and love! I also purchased the very popular Tarte Shape Tape concealer! Unfortunately, Sephora only carries these Tarte concealers!
That’s about it for my makeup routine, so let’s move on to the fun stuff……….face masks!! I can thank my teenage daughter for officially getting me addicted to face masks too!!! Well that and moving across the world to Kazakhstan where it is super cold and dry in the winter!! Can you tell that I am a bit obsessed with Peter Thomas Roth products?!?!
